Pre-requisite :

Participants must be physically fit, and must not be colour blind 

 

Duration:

This Mobile Crane Operator has a duration of five days including classroom training, practical exercises with Hands on training on the crane. We can organize the training onsite in Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Central African Republic, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea

Introduction to WSHA and subsidiary legislations

  • Current relevant regulations
  • Operator Code of Safe Practice

 

Duties and responsibilities of crane operator

  • How to alter the radius plate
  • Slinging and operating to signaller’s signs
  • Effects of shock loading
  • Interpret load chart

 

Job site consideration and safe operation of crane

Risk Assessment and Permit to Work for lifting operation

 

Unit 2 (Practical)

  • Pre use checks and preventive Maintenance
  • Hands on crawler crane operations
  • Lifting operations and Safety
  • Hand signal and communication with the aid of radios
  • Practical lifting operations
