Electrical Safety Training for Electricians B1-B2-BR-BC

The objectives of this electrical safety training course for electricians is to sensitize delegates on the hazards of electrical work and basic approaches to working safely on electrical installations. Participant will learn skills that will permit them to recognize, evaluate, and control electrical hazards at work. Upon completion, delegates should be able to:

  • Work on electrical and electricity equipment safely 
  • Carry out electrical hazard risks assessment and implement control measures.
  • Administer First Aid on victims of electrical shock
  • Carry out electrical interventions on electrical equipment

Training Duration:

This electrical safety training course for electricians has a duration of two days. This includes classroom presentations, discussion and exercises, practical exercises. We can organise the training onsite in Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Central African Republic, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea

Pre-requisite of the Training:

To take part in the electrical safety training course for electricians, delegates must show prove of basic knowledge on electricity, work experience as an electrician. Ability to write and understand basic English or French.

Method of risk assessment

Conducting electrical operations in low voltage

What to do in case of incidents or accidents of electrical origin First aid, fire on an electrical work, confined spaces.

ELECTRICAL ACCREDITATION FOR ELECTRICIAN B1.

Personnel working on electrical installations. The B1 Accreditation permits the worker to do electrical works and maneuvers. Personnel accredited as B1 must always work following verbal or written instructions and ensure his own safety.

ELECTRICAL ACCREDITATION FOR ELECTRICIAN B2

Worksite supervisor, the B2 qualified personnel ensures effective management of work and takes necessary measures to ensure his own safety and that of personnel under his command.

ELECTRICAL ACCREDITATION FOR ELECTRICIAN BR

Responsible for intervention: "The BR qualified personnel ensures effective management of interventions and takes necessary measures to ensure his personal safety and that of personnel under his command.

Practice

Site visit to identify electrical intervention, Isolation, Grounding/Earthing, Use of PPE
