- Key defensive driving techniques and safe maneuvers to avoid collisions and violations
- Defensive driving skills for preventing fatalities, injuries, and property damage
- How driver fatigue/stress affects operating a large truck
- Proper vehicle maintenance and inspection
- How to deal with uncontrollable driving conditions/hazards
- Excellence as it relates to professional truck driving
Training Duration:
This defensive driving training course for truck drivers has a duration of four days comprising of a three days. This includes classroom presentations, discussion and exercises, practical exercises, huddle course and commentary driving.
Training Prerequisite:
To take part in the defensive driving training for truck drivers, participants must be holders of at least a category C driving license and must have at least two years of continues driving experience in truck driving.
