For a period of Five days, Hy-classe Training gave a power pact training session including hands on practical exercises on the operations of cranes both onshore and offshore.
During the five day training session animated by Hy-Classe Training’s team of experts, participants received in-depth knowledge on the various hazard to which they are exposed while working on an offshore oil and gas installation, the severity of each hazard and resources they can use to manage the hazards.The trainees went deeper into crane operations in the offshore and construction industry, they gained knowledge of Crane Operation with a great focus on applicable Legislation, Standards and Manufacturer’s Specifications, reading and determining load charts and load weight, pick up points and center of gravity, selecting, inspecting and attaching slings, using appropriate hitches and connecting hardware, hazard identification, pinch points, danger zone, proper body positioning, crane controls, operation procedures and pre-use inspection, load control, tag line use and signaling
