Helicopter landing officer, working onboard Paragon offshore installation and employed by Societe Industrielle du Cameroun, have received training on Helicopter Landing Officer at Hy-Classe Training in Cameroon
The training which took place at the Douala office of Hy-Classe training, equipped the HLO with techniques use in landing and dispatching Helicopters on offshore Installations. Designed in accordance with stipulations in the Civil Aviation Publication CAP 437, SOLAS - Part G - Regulation 18 on Helicopter facilities, the Offshore Petroleum (Safety) Regulations 2009, and the OPITO HLO hand book, the trainer blended prescribed techniques and procedures with his personal experience as HLO to leverage a training that was highly appreciated by participants
