Helicopter Underwater Escape Training - HUET

Course Overview

This course is designed to improve an individual's chance of surviving a helicopter ditching. Participants will experience a simulated helicopter ditching and  egress in helicopter emergency

 

Training Standard
This course is designed and delivered following API T4 and T7 recommended practice and IMO Resolution A.891 (21) Table 5.3.1 on survival and rescue at sea.
 
 
Learning Objectives. 
This course will empower participant with knowledge and skills necessary to successfully abandon a helicopter and egress underwater from an inverted helicopter in water: Upon completing the course, participant will be able to:Prepare for helicopter flightPrepare for ditchingSafely egress a helicopter during helicopter emergency: Facilitate the recovery process during an accidentAbandon an offshore installationManage the survival process
