Basic Drilling Training Course

The goal of this basis and elementary drilling training is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of oil and gas drilling operations and processes and why an operation, process or method is necessary at a particular time.  Upon completion of the training course, participants will:

Have an in-depth understanding of the complexity and risks involved in drilling for oil and gas. 

  • Be able to explain the processes involve in drilling.
  • Be able to explain the basic tools and equipment use in drilling for oil and gas
  • Be able to explain the different types of drilling fluid and their importance in the drilling process.
  • Effectively respond to emergencies within their level of competence

This Basic and elementary drilling training course is suitable for personnel working in the upstream oil and gas industry or anyone wishing to get involve in drilling for oil and gas, the training will be of great importance to new entrants into the upstream oil and gas industry, office personnel, and anyone associated with drilling whether or not he is involved in in daily drilling operations

 

Duration: 

This Basic and elementary drilling training course will be organised in 4 days. These include classroom exercises and videos. this Basic Drilling training is organised in our premises. we can equally organise the training onsite upon client request. 

 

Pre-requisite :   

There are no pre-requisite for the Basic and elementary Drilling training however it is recommended that delegates be able to read and write basic English or French. Knowledge of basic mathematics will be an added advantage.
